Murals and Faux Finishes...THE PROCESS...

Adding the beauty of art to your surroundings is amazingly exciting and fun, from start to finish. The process begins with you and your ideas and preferences! After you share those with me during the initial contact, we will set up a free consultation meeting. I'll take a look at the room and/or surface you want painted and further discuss with you what you desire in the finished product. During this meeting we will further explore what colors would be best, what size would be appropriate and what style would be most effective. I will have with me a variety of references based on our initial conversation, including color swatches, pictures, etc., and together we will come up with an artistic creation to add to your environment.

Once you have decided that you are pleased with the proposed plan, I will give you an estimate, based on material and traveling expenses, anticipated work time, and any other factors that may come into play. Upon accepting the bid and providing twenty percent of the total as a deposit to reserve my time and to purchase the necessary materials, we will arrange a schedule when I can do the work as planned. I will also present a contract including all the details discussed and agreed upon.

Between the time of signing the contract and when I arrive on the project start date, I will be preparing in every way I can to have your project done in the most efficient and artistic way possible. This starts with the sketch or rendering, as shown with this dinosaur mural painted in a child's bedroom. After preparing the work environment, I will transfer this sketch from paper to the surface to be painted. Then, with paintbrush in hand, I'll have the privilege of turning your surroundings into all that you have dreamed of.
